Consistency is not the 🔑

This is...

You’ve been lied to for too long.

How many gurus out there are constantly spouting that consistency is the key, and without it you’ll never reach your true potential blah blah blah?

If that were the case why do we see all these people who ‘hustle’, be it in the gym or at work, who when you don’t see them for a while, are STILL in the same place after years of ‘being consistent’?

‘Yeah, but Coach we know things don’t happen overnight and that they take time.’

Yes, delayed gratification is real but 0 progress made means your consistency is not the only answer!

What everyone fails to express when spieling their Guru advice online is that Effort is the 🔑 to unlock your true potential.

Without it you’re just bumbling along with your beer belly that won’t go away and the overdraft in your account you can never get out of…

Effort in the right and necessary places, executed on a consistent basis, is why the athletes and hustlers win year after year.

They achieve this by identifying what they should and need to be doing to get what they want and they GO ALL IN.

Planning
Executing
Reviewing
Adapting

It doesn’t just happen by chance, and just because you ‘go gym’ every day doesn’t mean you’re entitled to a six-pack or a muscle up.

It happens because you take yourself and your goals seriously enough that:

- Leaving the gym sweating and struggling having pushed to your limits.
- Strategising and planning your days and weeks to become efficient in your work.
- Creating routines to optimise sleep, nutrition and recovery.

Is a NO BRAINER.

Not something that’s a chore and you half-ass all the time.

Today we put a stop to your consistency and we put in some EFFORT.

And with this week’s challenge, you physically won’t make it through unless you put the effort in…

THE CHALLENGE

The Push-up Ladder:

With no more than 10s rest between reps, you will aim to complete:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 Push-ups (if you complete it work your way back down)

If you need to put your knees down to complete the reps go ahead.

Whatever you do, push yourself and see what putting in real effort on a consistent basis looks like!
