Don't be forced to eat spam in 2024...
Here's how to *actually* enjoy the festive season
Listen, unlike a lot of coaches out there, I want you to actually enjoy Christmas and the New Year đ
Real time with family and friends that doesnât happen as often as weâd like because playing the game of being an adult is a complicated one.
But this is a time for you to relieve some of lifeâs unnecessary stress and do a bit more of what you want to do đ
Every year, farmers have one goal in mind.
To ensure this years Christmas dinner will be one to remember.
The crispiest roasties and most succulent turkey; Yorkshires smothered in mouth-watering gravy that you cant help but stick a finger in the gravy jug đ€€
Itâs the work that goes in a whole year prior to that food on your plate that means your family is left smiling, thanking the chef for putting it all together this year!
Because without that preparation and hard work, and if theyâd left it till the last minute, youâd have been served tinned potatoes and spam (and I know youâre not gonna be happy with that one!)
So while you are enjoying the free time you have, remember what you wanted for yourself at the start of this year - the goals and aspirations you came into 2023 with and those you will take into 2024 đŻ
Because if all that preparation you put in gets ruined because you pressed the fuck it button this month, and threw all your habits and routines to the curb for 30 daysâŠ
Tinned potatoes and Spam is what youâre gonna see in the mirror! đ€ą
So have that drink at your work Christmas party! And dance anyway (even if you have two left feet), knowing that you donât need to be hammered to enjoy it đșđ»
The dessert buffet is not going anywhere at Auntieâs house, so enjoy a slice of cake and then spend time playing games with the family instead of devouring everything that there is đ°
Everything in moderation goes for all year round, but remembering that you have goals and dreams brighter than the Christmas lights on your tree means that you can enjoy sensibly and keep a lid on it.
And on the biscuit tin đ
Remember, you donât have to eat like a human dustbin this Christmas to enjoy yourself, and you can say no if you donât feel like it - donât give in the pressure of your distant relatives to âenjoy everythingâ if it doesnât make YOU feel good đđŒ
Todayâs challenge is to remind yourself of what you wanted for yourself this yearâŠ
âïž Did you achieve it?
âïž What went well this year? Or why didnât it?
Then ask yourself how B can navigate enjoying Christmas and the New Year and coming out on top (leaving the spam for someone else!)
Seasons greetings from Cali Creed đȘđŒ
