- Failure is my best friend
Failure is my best friend
‘I’m scared to fail.’
That’s the number one thing holding 99% of the population back right now.
Here’s how it usually goes…
We want to do something, but we’re scared we’ll fail.
We tell ourselves that failure is bad.
That it hurts.
That others will judge us for it.
Or look down on us because of it.
So we don’t do it - and the cycle continues.
Failure is the thing you know you should do, but avoid to protect yourself.
So today’s I want you to learn how to reintroduce yourself to failure as the person and tool that is going to get you what you truly want in life.
At Cali Creed we reframe the story of failure and give it its true characteristics.
So instead of feeling frozen because you fear how society will see you, or what you see in the mirror, we say that failure is an experience - it gives us the strength and knowledge that we need to tackle the tasks in front of us.
The more you fail & the faster you do so = the more knowledge you have to complete tasks and level up.
This relates to everything:
💪🏼Struggling with strength in the gym? Fail and find your weak points, then work on improving them.
💰Struggling with paying bills? Start a side hustle and fail fast so you know what works and what you can get paid for.
👫Struggling with your spouse? Confront them gently and find out where you’re going wrong so you can actively work on it.
The list goes on - but having the knowledge won’t do anything for you unless you act on it!
So here’s how you can make instant progress today…
List 2 main things you're struggling with: 1 in the gym and 1 in everyday life.
Write down 2 solutions to your problems and ADDRESS them with ACTION today.
I’m not saying it will be easy.
In fact it’ll probably be scary.
But remember, failure is your friend.
And it provides you with the information and knowledge you need to go and do something that will help your immediate future.
So go ahead - fail!
And watch how you come back stronger 😈
