Stop putting petrol in a diesel car!
The media today is OVERFLOWING with every Tom dick and Harry giving you tips and tricks on how to get ahead.
I remember turning 18 and buying my first bag of whey from my protein thinking to myself ima get hench off this strawberry-flavoured goodness just like the Pros.
My dad came into the kitchen and saw me whipping one up and burst out laughing.
‘What is this you fool?’
It’s strawberry protein, I’m going to use it to build muscle and get wedge.
What protein is there in strawberry son? he said.
That stumped me straight away.
Well, its whey protein one of the main ingredients we use to build muscle. It is just strawberry-flavoured.
Dont make me laugh son, come on now!
As he reached into the cupboard pulling out a box of eggs.
This is a main source of protein my boy, chicken, fish, fatty meat, whole foods.
Now my dad was no stranger to an active life as he spent time in the army, was a competitive bodybuilder and martial artist with a solid physique so i listened to what he had to say.
You see son look at the back of that bag and tell me what’s in it.
I couldn’t even begin to pronounce half the words I saw but on the front, it said High protein.
What’s your point?
This is a quick fix to the results you want son, think of it this way:
My car runs on Diesel, so I put diesel in it. but what if I say Ah petrols cheaper more convenient so i’ll just start putting that in it. what will happen to my car?
The car won’t run properly.
Exactly! The car will work but it’ll break down way before its time.
The same will happen if I don’t service my car, get the oil changed, and have it cleaned regularly. Also if I don’t USE the car it’ll rust and look a lot older and worse for wear than it should.
Watch everyone who drinks this stuff, look at how spotty they are, how much they stink in the gym, always burping and with bad BO, watch how they’re always tired. Is that worth going through to get a little bit of muscle for summer time then getting fat again once you stop?
What my dad was getting at changed the way I saw my health and fitness.
By putting these processed low low-quality foods in YOU. what will happen? By hardly exercising and moving your body in healthy ways what will happen? By getting less than 7 hours of quality sleep a night consistently from unnecessary activities WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
